Blues club is open to anyone who wants to participate
Blues Club now meets every 4 weeks on a Friday at the Old Fire Station in Woburn Sands 7:30 until 9:15 pm
It’s more geared towards the older person who has grown up with a love for blues, but anyone can attend. Skill level is mainly for beginner and intermediate, but upper intermediate and advanced are more than welcome to join in – that’s one of the great things about the blues – it’s possible to mix skill levels and still sound great, and be very enjoyable!
The structure of the class is informal – depending on who is there, students will get the opportunity to play either rhythm, lead, bass, drums, sing, or percussion – I will take you through what you need to do on any instrument.
With blues music, it’s possible for me to tell you exactly what to play, but most enjoy being creative once they know what chords and/or scales to play – that’s another great thing about the blues.
